Subject to these Terms and our policies (including the Acceptable Use Policy, Honor Code, and course-specific eligibility requirements and other terms), we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Services. You may download content from our Services only for your personal, non-commercial use, unless you obtain's written permission to otherwise use the content. You also agree that you will create, access, and/or use only one user account, and you will not share with any third party access to or access information for your account. Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access.

4.  Your Account, Obligations & Validity of Registration

4.1. Your Account

4.2.5. You will maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or if has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with this User Agreement, without prejudice to any other rights and remedies of under this User Agreement or at law, has the right to indefinitely suspend, limit or withdraw your access to the “Site” and/or your membership of the “Site”.

4.3. Validity of Registration

  1. The registration into a season on the Fatafeat ICCA Academy Online is valid for a period of 12 months from date of registration; the access to content will survive this clause.
  2. The learner MUST complete all course work, required for certification within this period, after which a new registration is required to complete the program for certification.
  3. Registration in to one particular “Season” is NOT transferable to any other “Season”. Each registration & payment is done for the selected “Season” only. Each subsequent “Season” must be registered into and paid for separately.

5. Electronic Communications

You agree that we may communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the “Site”. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. requires your agreement during the registration process to send you promotional emails to let you know about any new changes, features or promotional activities added to the “Site”. If, at any time, you decide that you do not wish to receive promotional emails, you can opt out of receiving such promotional emails by clicking on the link at the bottom of any promotional email.

6. Course Program Modification, Examination & Certification


6.1. Course Program Modifications

While we take pride in our world-class courses, unexpected events can occur. reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, or reschedule any course or to modify any course content or the point value or weight of any assignment, quiz, or other assessment. Courses offered are subject to the Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability section herein below.


6.2. Examinations

  1. For assessment of skills and knowledge obtained, there is a multiple choice test at the end of each episode. It is essential that all tests be successfully completed for obtaining the International Centre for Culinary Arts, ICCA Dubai’s  "Online Distance learning Program - Home Kitchen Skills" - Fatafeat  ICCA Academy Online – a City & Guilds London,  Accredited Program Certificate.
  2. The examination can be attempted a maximum of 5 times for each episode.
  3. Product evidencing as prescribed at the end of each episode must be uploaded for certification.
  4. Photos are for the purpose of evidencing to gauge understanding of the concept and techniques outlined.


6.3. Certification

  1. Certificates are awarded to those who successfully complete the online multiple choice examination and product evidencing as prescribed at the end of each episode in the entire season.
  2. Program certification is available both online, sent via email or in actual as hard copy.

The online certificate is free of charge and sent via email, upon successful completion of the program.

Hard copy is provided upon request and can be collected in person or by collect courier with a payment of USD 10 towards certificate fees.

  1. The City & Guilds London Accredited Certificate provides a platform for learners to continue their journey into the professional world of Culinary Arts.


6.4. Academic Credit

Unless otherwise explicitly indicated by a credit-granting institution, participation in or completion of a course does not confer any academic credit. Even if credit is awarded by one institution, there is no presumption that other institutions will accept that credit. You agree not to accept credit for completing a course unless you have earned a Course Certificate (or other equivalent credential) for that course., the course instructors, and the associated participating institutions have no obligation to have a course recognized by any educational institution or accreditation organization.


6.5. Disclaimer of Student-University Relationship

Nothing in these Terms or otherwise with respect to your participation in any course:

6.5.1. Establishes any relationship between you and any educational institution with which may be affiliated;

6.5.2. Enrolls or registers you in any educational institution, or in any course offered by any educational institution; or

6.5.2. Entitles you to use the resources of any educational institution beyond participation in the course.


7.  Your Content


7.1. User Content

The Services enable you to share your content, such as homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments you submit, posts you make in the forums, and the like ("User Content"), with, instructors, and/or other users. You retain all intellectual property rights in, and are responsible for, the “User Content” you share.



7.2. How and Others May Use User Provided Content

To the extent that you provide Your Content, you grant a fully-transferable, royalty-free, perpetual, sub licensable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works based on, publicly perform, publicly display, and otherwise use the Your Provided Content. Nothing in these Terms shall restrict other legal rights may have to User Provided Content, for example under other licenses. 7.6. Paid Services offers paid Services (e.g., Course Certificates for certain courses) for a fee. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars. You are responsible for paying all fees OR equivalent to the amount quoted in USD and applicable taxes in a timely manner with a payment mechanism associated with the applicable paid Services. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees using other collection mechanisms. Fees may vary based on your location and other factors, and reserves the right to change any fees at any time at its sole discretion. Any change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting through the relevant Services.

8.   Modifying and Terminating our Services

In our endeavour to continuously improve our Services, we reserve the right to add or remove functions, features, or requirements, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether.  Accordingly, may terminate your use of any of its Service options. In this event, no refund will be made in accordance with the “Refund Policy” herein.


None of, its participating institutions and instructors, its contributors, sponsors, and other business partners, and their employees, contractors, and other agents (the " Parties") shall have any liability to you for any such action. You can stop using our Services at any time, although we'll be sorry to see you go.


9.  Disclaimers

The services and all included content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. The parties specifically disclaim any and all warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. The parties further disclaim any and all liability related to your access or use of the services or any related content. You acknowledge and agree that any access to or use of the services or such content is at your own risk.




10. Amendments to this User Agreement

You acknowledge and agree that shall endeavour to give you notice for any amendment to this User Agreement that materially increases your obligations or decreases your rights under the User Agreement ("Substantial Amendment") in accordance with the terms of this User Agreement.   2. My answers to homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments will be my own work (except for assignments that explicitly permit collaboration).
  3. I will not make solutions to homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments available to anyone else (except to the extent an assignment explicitly permits sharing solutions). This includes both solutions written by me, as well as any solutions provided by the course staff or others.
  4. I will not engage in any other activities that will dishonestly improve my results or dishonestly improve or hurt the results of others.


15.  For Payment Services

Except as described in this Refund Policy or as explicitly stated by the payment partner - Pay Fort, sign-up process and refund policies for Payment Service, has no obligation to provide refunds for any other Services.

If you make a payment for our courses on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via secured connection.


The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.


Any use or access by anyone under the age of 13 is prohibited, due to level of Information, Knowledge and Skills set imparted.


Further, in cases wherein the customer using the website who are  Minor / under the age of 18 shall use the services, support & guidance of Major for making the online payment and use of website as per the Terms prescribed.


16. Refund Policy


If you are found to be in violation of’s Honor Code or otherwise violate the Terms of Use, your Services will be terminated and you will not be issued a refund. In addition, if you do not pass or if you otherwise receive an unsatisfactory grade for the course availed, you will not be issued a refund.

In case, the “Site” should cease to function for any unforeseen reason, the “Content” for the season subscribed by you will be made available for downloading, towards completion for certification. In this case, there will be no refund.


17. Delivery Policy

At the time of checkout we clearly disclose to the cardholder the possibility that multiple registrations may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement. will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.

21. Withdrawal of Access and/or Membership

Without prejudice to any other rights and remedies of under this User Agreement or at law or otherwise, may limit, suspend or withdraw your membership and / or your access to the “Site” at any time, without notice, for any reason, including without limitation, breach of this User Agreement.


22. Limitation of Liabilities

To the extent permitted by law,, its officers, employees, agents and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary, including but not limited to, losses or damages for loss of profits, goodwill, business, opportunity, data or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with:

  1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services;
  2. Any conduct or content of any party other than the applicable party, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct; or
  3. Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or information.

In no event shall's aggregate liability for all claims related to the services exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).

You agree that any cause of action related to the services must commence within three (3) months after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.

If you are dissatisfied with the “Site” or any content or materials on it, your sole exclusive remedy is to discontinue your use of it. Further, you agree that any unauthorized use of the “Site” and its services as a result of your negligent act or omission would result in irreparable injury to and shall treat any such unauthorized use as subject to the terms and conditions of this User Agreement.

You agree to indemnify and hold and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents and suppliers harmless from any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, expenses (including reasonable legal costs and expenses), howsoever suffered or incurred due to or arising out of your breach of this User Agreement, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.



24. Disputes

If any dispute, claim, controversy or difference (including in relation to any tortuous or statutory claim) ("Dispute") arises out of or in connection with or in relation to this User Agreement, including (without limitation) any question regarding the formation, existence, scope, performance, interpretation, validity or termination of this User Agreement or this clause, or any question regarding the legal relationships established by this User Agreement or the consequences of its nullity, then the parties shall first attempt amicably to settle the Dispute through good-faith negotiations over a period of thirty (30) calendar days commencing on the date that a party first sends to the other party a written notice of the Dispute.


In the event that a Dispute has not been settled amicably by the relevant parties by the end of such thirty (30) calendar day-period, the parties hereby agree that the Dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration as set out below, under the Arbitration Rules of the Dubai International Financial Centre - London Court of International Arbitration ("LCIA"), which rules ("Rules") are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The parties to the arbitration shall seek to agree on a sole arbitrator to be nominated to the LCIA court for appointment. If the parties to the arbitration fail to nominate a sole arbitrator within 30 days from the date of the service of the request upon the respondent (or such greater or lesser period as may be fixed by the LCIA Court), the sole arbitrator shall be appointed by the LCIA Court. The seat or legal place of the arbitration shall be Dubai International Financial Centre in Dubai, UAE. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in the English language and the award shall be in English. The foregoing provisions of this clause are without prejudice to the right of to seek interim relief at any time from any court of competent jurisdiction (whether or not an arbitrator has been appointed) and shall not be deemed to have breached this arbitration agreement or infringed the powers of the arbitrator for having done so.


25. General

If any clause of this User Agreement shall be deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such clause shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining clauses of this User Agreement. This User Agreement (as amended from time to time in accordance with the terms of this User Agreement) sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between you and with respect to the subject matter hereof.


No person who is not a party to this User Agreement shall have any right to enforce any term of this User Agreement. If this User Agreement is translated into any language other than English, whether on the “Site” or otherwise, the English text shall prevail.


26. Governing Law

United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.

This User Agreement is governed by, and construed in accordance with, United Arab Emirates law.

This clause will survive any expiry or cancellation of this User Agreement for any reason.
